  • In your current work, where do you find inspiration/real-word application to your research? What about science continues to inspire you?

    I am still working with proteins from H. pylori, because trying to understand the ways metals help this pathogen function is just super interesting!

  • What is your favorite non-science book, blog, or magazine?

    The Lord of the Rings trilogy is my all time favorite book.

  • Did you know how to play a sport or musical instrument? Which one?

    In college, I was on the cross-country team.  In high school, I ran cross-country and track, and swam competitively.  I also used to play the trumpet.
